What we collect, and why
When you visit this website
This site has no forms, no login and no checkout. We do not ask you for anything. Visiting it still involves some automatic processing:
- Hosting and analytics. The site runs on Shopify, which sets cookies necessary to serve the page and records aggregate visit data such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and referring site.
- Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Advertising measurement. A Meta pixel is active on this domain and may record page views for advertising measurement.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and understanding the site. You can block cookies in your browser and use a tracker-blocking extension; the site works without them.
When you email us
If you write to us, we process your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. We keep the correspondence so we can continue the conversation.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and where relevant the steps taken before entering a contract.
When we contact you first
We approach creators about partnerships. When we do, we process business contact details — your name, your published business or partnership email address, your public profile and publicly visible information about your audience.
We only use contact addresses that you have published yourself for partnership or business enquiries. We do not scrape private addresses, and we do not buy contact lists.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in reaching potential business partners, balanced against your interests. Every message we send identifies us, states why we are writing, and tells you how to stop hearing from us. Reply asking us to stop and we will delete your details and never contact you again.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not share your data with anyone except the service providers listed below.
- We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
- We do not run a newsletter or marketing mailing list.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Shopify — website hosting and site analytics
- Google — font delivery
- Meta — advertising measurement
- Our email provider — correspondence
Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
We are established outside the EU/EEA. Forclick Limited is registered in Hong Kong. Because we offer services to and monitor people in the EU/EEA, the GDPR applies to this processing and we handle your data accordingly.
How long we keep it
- Email correspondence: as long as the conversation is relevant, and up to 24 months after the last message.
- Outreach records: until you ask us to stop, or 12 months after the last contact if you never replied.
- If you ask us to stop: we keep only the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
- Website analytics: according to Shopify's retention periods.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict how we process it
- receive your data in a portable format
- object to processing based on legitimate interest — including our outreach
Email partnerships@mydigitalproduct.co and we will respond within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.
If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully you may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
